Responsibilities:
- Design architecture of the BI solutions
- Leading new and existing BI projects
- Define and maintain company standards and best practices for BI projects
- Start BI projects from scratch
- Participating in sales and pre-sales activities
Requirements:
- Deep understanding of the BI solution lifecycle and DWH methodologies
- Hands-on experience in full-cycle delivery of BI solutions
- Experience in direct communication with customers and stakeholders, requirements clarification, and scope creation
- Ability to translate business requests into development tasks
- Effective team management, continuous improvement of the existing processes and incorporate best practices
- Experience in the sales and pre-sales activities (discovery phase, proposal preparing, project estimation, etc.)
- Experience in creating data manipulation and visualization PoC
- Experience in creating and maintaining a product documentation
- Experience in data visualization using Power BI (Tableau, Quicksight, SAP BO, or similar tools will be a great plus)
- Experience with SQL and NoSQL solutions
- Experience with at least one cloud DWH solution (Azure Synapse, AWS Redshift, Google BigQuery, Snowflake, etc.)
- Experience with ETL automation and orchestration tools (SSIS, Airflow, Informatica, Talend, etc.)
- English skills sufficient for fluent spoken communication
Nice to have:
- Experience with cloud-based / serverless ETL tools and services
- Experience with Big Data technologies (such as Hadoop, Spark, etc.)
- Experience with machine learning and artificial intelligence cloud services
